Where was the 10 - 15 mph wind? There had to be gusts of 25 + 30 today. Made 1 pass and caught 2. Call it quits. Nothing like yesterday
Was pretty windy in St. Helena sound today also.
Went to Santee Bay and coolered out on the north side of the bay. Out of the wind. Shrimp were a little on the small side. Set up in 3-4’ of water just before low tide. Picked them up on both sides of the tide.
the wind in St. Helena sound really got up around 3-4pm. we ended up with less than half cooler but man; they sure were small. first time shrimping down there. also my navigator took us over a sand bar. sat there for two hours saturday morning. still had a great time for the weekend. decided not to go out yesterday due to wind. came home and cleaned the boat up good
When they say 10-15 we add those numbers together for the Bay winds…
