Bull's Monday 9/10

Put in at Buck Hall at low. Entered the bay from marker #50 and followed the channel to the end, cut northeast along the islands to the flats that normally produce well. In years past I would normally see shrimp show up on the fish finder once I hit shallow water 5’-2’. There wasn’t much to see as we moved to the far north end. Had family and no driver so anchored into the quick incoming tide, set anchor pin aft and scattered bait. 2.2 ft. We caught some shrimp, 2-3 per cast. Nice size. Lots of by-catch including 15 mini flounder, 2 huge horseshoe crabs, etc. We didn’t have time to tour around but if the storm doesn’t destroy the season I’ll spend time looking before wasting bait. While we were out officials posted a sign announcing the park closing Tuesday (yesterday).

Heard they shut Buck Hall down 4:30 pm Tuesday

probably weren’t baby flounder but Hog Chokers
