The big redfish bite has been pretty consistent at the jetties lately by targeting different parts of the jetty system at different tides. I tend you fish the inner sides on the incoming and the out on the outgoing. Targeting points, washout areas, steep drops… Not saying that it’s easy as I have chosen the wrong area at the wrong time before, but when on the right area at the right time, you know quickly. Usually only about a 1-3 minute soak time on the menhaden bait I cast net earlier on a carolina rig. It’s a great time of year to hit those deeper haunts. I hope everyone is enjoying the bite right now. Tight Lines!
Nice fish and thanks for the tip. I tend to find that wrong area at the wrong time a lot, but my search continues. Tight lines.
