Bulls Present a Problem

When fishing for trout with light tackle, a bull red can be a handful, especially when you are in the water with him and can’t chase him with the boat. Bull reds and jack crevalles present such a problem that we generally just pop them off so we can get back to trout fishing. We use 30 lb braid with a 20 lb fluoro leader so we don’t lose all our line when a big one spools us.

Wow, that must have been crazy catching him wade fishing.

DFreedom, it does get crazy. We usually just pop them off so we can get back to trout fishing.

When you see “Old Glory” waving in the breeze, know that it is the dying breaths of our fallen hero’s that makes it wave.
