Does anybody ever fish the Bulow Landing area? I live in West Ashley and want to try it out, but I never hear anything about it. Please give me your thoughts on this area.

haven’t fished there before so i can’t help ya with that. but i planned on giving the area a shot here in the next couple weeks or so. i saw the sign for the landing on a trip to FL begining of this month. looks pretty fishy on google earth.
Just be real careful on the flats towards the Stono up that creek, they empty out REAL fast, hug the left side of bank going towards stono, there is also a sandbar right on the main channel where it goes around that small island by the houses there, again, hug the left side bank going towards Stono river. Never caught much of anything with size to it back there just a lot of rat reds and smaller flounder. Also, the parking lot there is known for break ins so be careful with what’s left in car.

Never caught anything at Bulow but saw lots of activity. This was summer though…

It’s down 17, below Bees Ferry. Turn right at Davison. Looks like old flooded rice fields on Google Earth.
is that saltwater, fresh, or brackish ??
