Bulow?

How is bulow landing nowdays? I read about a lot of break ins, gators, and keyed cars from searching it, but is it still a pretty bad area? Ive never actually been all the way down that road to the landing but i’m thinking about going friday

Bohicket, it was a shady area a good couple years ago due to it’s remote location, but now that there are buildings around it I think your good to go. Though, one thing you should take into consideration is its size, but you will definitely be fine if your just putting in your jonboat and kayak. I heard there’s some good fishing around there, we need to go! Call me up!

The addition of Poplar Grove really increased the average quality of angler that you’ll run into there. Its still dirt, but I would say its about average with any other ramp in our area as far as safety is concerned.

Be smart and use common sense, you’ll be fine. Its shallow at spots, I’ve put the 16 high tide in there plenty with no issues though.

Thanks. That was my 2nd concern but ill be in a 14 jon boat so it shouldnt be a big problem. Is it navigable for the most part at dead low or is it pretty much dry?

I have certainly seen some shady characters there. We pulled up one morning to find a SUV partially submerged in the middle of the creek. Apparently it had been stolen and dumped the previous night. I have had some luck there but pretty inconsistent. That is probably due to the angler not the fish though.

14’ jon boat, you shouldn’t have problems.

There’s a fair amount of green slime on the ramp. Goes probably half way up. Might be a little dicey without 4wd regardless of what you’re launching…
