Ran across this recently. Looks like a pretty cool concept. You buy these tags, register them and tag your stuff. If found, the finder can call/text/email you to return your stuff. Yes, it is incumbent upon the finder to be honest but, it is pretty inexpensive so may be worth it. Anyone have any experience with these?

It would probably work great for a set of keys or something not really worth much to someone else, but a lost iPod, camera, etc, would say the chances drop drastically. It would really help assist someone who found your belongings and truely wanted to return them to the rightful owner though. Just imagine all the stuff sitting in a lost and found bin somewhere simply because the owner didnt know where they lost the item at… I think I might try it for $10. I lost a set of keys a few months ago and a replacement key for my Mustang is $80, not to mention all the copies I had to get made off of my spare set…

I think it is worth a shot. At least on the off chance you find someone honest then you would get your stuff back.
Would be great for kayak accessories that can blow out a truck, Costas, cell phones, keys, etc.
I like it. Might have to try it.
