Early to work, got off 11:30 and got the gear and off to the waters. Fished hard for a couple hrs and nothing. Threw a FM on the flats and slam I’m hooked up. Thought I had the Red of the day, But It ended up being a 22lb CAT.
I know we talk saltwater but I’m now convinced cats are like striper back and forth. Anyway. We decided to make run to another hole before sunset and fish were on
On to Sunday got off a little earlier and off to another area and missed some big reds. Large FM on a 1/4oz leadhead with 3/0 hooks were not hooking up but had a blast
Caught: Numerous Reds (no tags on hand) four flounders (under slot) 19" trout and Big Baby Cat
Having a good time hitting the waters this time of year. Thanks to the Fellows whom guided me in posting better pixs.
