Bushy 23 Mar 2019

Seems to be a shortage of reports so I’ll share.
Water was 61 degrees
25 fish. Mix of Reds, flounder, and a few bass.
31.5” tagged redfish and a 23.5” tagged redfish.
The big one had 55 spots.
Pulled several other overslot reds.
Pretty good day as spring is usually the hardest time of year for me.

Excellent start to the season.

Very nice, hoping to try this thing called fishing again one day. Thanks for sharing for those of us fish impaired.

That sounds like a great day to me! Definitely the way to start your season! Good job

Thinking about going to Bushy Park Friday. Did you put in there or did you run from Cypress Gardens Landing? Were you catching on live bait or artificial? thanks for a reply.

55 spots,Never caught one with that many, could you post a couple pictures ? I’ve been having trouble with pictures lately.

I’ve seen a few spotted (many) red drum in magazines. They’re pretty fish. I remember reading about one with 600+ spots in North Carolina years ago. I’d love to catch one some day for the picture wall!

I tried a few times and it won’t let me upload the picture.
To large even though it’s less than a meg.

I only fish artificials. We put in at bushy. Just gotta watch the tide as it get pretty shallow now days.
