Got to the landing just in time to catch the rain in the morning! Lucky me. With only a few mud minnows from the pond at home I paddled out into the rain. I ran into some elder “genius” in a sneak boat telling me I was going to get wet. Gee, ya think? I set up along the grass and used up my minnows in quick fashion on some small trout. The sun came out and I continued with grubs and got a couple more trout. I decided to move into a creek to get out of the wind and caught absolutely nothing! I did get to meet the infamous cutmullet who was nice enough to mention a couple possible spots for future trips.
Back to the house by 10:30 for some yard work and a trip to the pool. Not a bad day.
