Got out again this morning and tried 30 min earlier than the day before and somewhat of the same results. Got an 18" flounder by accident. was trolling a floating bobber behind the boat as I was steadily casting and jigging and the bobber disappear with a trout attached. After placing in live well and baiting up I went to retrieve my ringer worm that I just laid down for that short period and had a hook up and this flounder engulfed that ringer worm. tide started going out so I wnet with the drift staedily casting and slammmmm a monster RED hit and decided he was not coming to the boat. faught for a while with that ripping current but got him to the boat 32" on 8lb spiderwire. even the grass didn’t cut me off as I faught this baby. What a day

Fish are too valuable to be caught only once.
what color worms do you cast? I’ve used junebug culprits texas rigged out at Bushy with some success.
I use the watermelon (green) or the pumpkin seed with the tail dipped or chartruess 1/4 red lead head jig. Salt and pepper is another of choice and if the water is murky I try white. It’s hit and miss this time of year but I hope it picks up soon.
Stretch, let’s get out there!
