Bushy observations

I did catch 5-6 trout, only one measured and a small flounder. Dodged lightning while paddling really fast, getting back to landing.
2 young men had backed there new titan truck far enough in the water to pull the jet-skis directly into the bed of truck (tailgate was in the salt water). Poor truck:frowning_face:
Went back out after rain and while pulling in witnessed 5 men having a heck of a time messing with the gators. You see if ya attach the chicken to a rope instead of string, you can almost bring the gator up. Tried to talk to them, but seemed like they didn’t speak english. So maybe someone at DNR can make them understand why this is illegal.:slightly_smiling_face:

its getting bad out there, someone is gonna loose a toe or worse.

I haven’t seen anyone feeding the gators ina while but there is a good sized one that likes to get up close and personal right there at the landing… I got DNR on my cell speed dial so I’ll be sure to give them a call if I see it…

Paddle faster boys… I hear banjo music!

how bout a report ??? how did it go?

The past year or two I’ve seen non english speaking individuals with nets or cast nets in the inlets and/or marshes behind Litchfield Beach and Pawley’s Island. Really burns me up. Wanted to call DNR but wasn’t actually sure of the regulations and restrictions, from land, not from land etc. Could anyone educate me on this?

im pretty sure, with license, you can use cast net anywhere so long as not over bait, then there are restrictions.

Seineing though is a totally different matter

I don’t fear the Ocean, but it sure as hell has earned my respect!
