Bushy Park 10/22/2013

Decided to hit it and knew it would be a wet one but have that trout fever now. Started very slow with nithing hitting and with all the trash in the river one had to over come not being able to fish some productive spots. So off to venturing in unfished areas in years. Several spottails tagged and one keeper for the table. Had a BigBoy hit in 10’ of water and off to deeper seas and snap my rod in two. I couldn’t keep up with this BigBoy with the trolling motor and the Tugs wakes didn’t help eventhough they showed respect and tried to slow down once they realized I was hooked up. What a fight. As one quotes “you win some and you lose some”.

Nice! Always nice to hit “forgotten” spots and have them produce.
