Bushy Park 11/21

I went fishing with my buddy and his dad for about two hours this afternoon right before low tide. We happened upon a school of stripers chasing mullet up to the surface, and my buddy got one to bite!

Nice looking striper. Some nice fish runs in that creek. Great job.

This is what the striper ate. It was the only thing they would eat besides the mullet they were chasing.

Thanks for the intel. I think I have a couple timber doodles laying around. I will be looking for fish of the striped variety this weekend in the Ashley.

Nice catch. That is a great creek and a chance for the unusual slam…Stripers will also school at the mouth of that creek. Usually when the tide changes.
