Windy… wow that was the roughest I have ever gone out in my yak. Lots of waves broke over the yak and swamped me pretty good on the way to the creeks. I finally got out of the wind and waves and bailed out the yak and started fishin. Tried MM on the bottom and under a cork, and got two really hard hits from the bottom baits, but no hookups. Threw some gulp crabs about and had one bitten in half. looked like a human bite with tooth prints and all… my first thought was a sheepie but I am not sure if they get in to the creeks.
Paddled back to the end of the creek and saw nutin. No movement, no bait, nutin. I made my way back to the ramp fishin the whole way trollin a grub and workin the bank but not even a nibble. Water was cold but not as bad as Jan. Felt good to get the yak out again though.

missed you Ken, we put the motorboat in around 10am to glasslike water and went to a cookout at waterfront park. While the girl was socializing, I threw some minnows around pier alpha. Boated 4 spottails, almost back-to-back. Tried yellowhouse with no takers.
We will have to get together soon… maybe next weekend, if the wind is better?
I’ll be up near Columbia doing some Air Assault training with the Army but I do have a couple of dasy off coming so we’ll get together during the week and tear 'em up. Maybe a Redfishville trip…

No reports from the “ville.” Wife’s been sick so I’m helping keep the kids busy. Maybe tomorrow afternoon
