I went back to my usual spot at the top of Yellow House today. We waited until the radar was about to clear, loaded up, drove to the landing, and hit the water. We got drizzled on a little, but we pretty much stayed dry the whole time. We hung out outside of a creek until the tide started to come back it and then I poled us up into the creek with the tide. We saw a few fish, but they were definitely not in schools in there. The fish were very scattered and didn’t really look like they were looking to eat today. We got skunked throwing paddlers, mud minnows (under a cork and on a Carolina rig), and even a fly.
Water temp was 55 degrees.
The water was very cloudy and stained from all of the rain.
