Bushy Park 3/29 AM

Wow I really love my new boat…When I arrives at teh ;ark this morning the sky was clear, there was NO wind at ALL and the water was lo\ike Glass… I launched out in a cloud of gnats that were a big pain all day and I had to wash my new boat down with tomater juice today when I got back though, I hope that gets the skunk off it … Had a few bites and hooked sumptin but didn’t put anything in the boat. I did more exploring with the fish finder today more than anything… Man ther are some really nice holes in those creeks! I found a few that were between 12-18 feet deep and a few I found I didn’t expect to find them where I did… I fished them all but all I had was mud minnows and some plastics but I just didn’t have what they wanted…I found a few ledges that the finder showed fish stacked up on it, I really had no idea those creeks had som many pockets and holes… I can;t wait to try them all!!! I was marking fish throughout the creeks… I saw quite a few reds slip out of the shallows for deeper water and finally saw mullet jumping… looks like it’ll really turn on soon… well unless you’re Cutmullet  I am going to try and get out again tomorrow depending on the weather and I am going to be trying to chart out the holes and stuff as I fish them… It was a great day up until the wind kicked up pretty hard and it started to rain… I packed it in but I had a great day…

He took the jugbelly clouser like an anemic sea trout on crack…

I got up this mornin and was HATIN IT that I didn’t join you at Bushy.
Only good news is I scored some major rownie points with the wife and caught the same number of fish:imp:
