Weather report was showing a dry afternoon, finally, so the wife and I worked through lunch and bugged out a couple hours early. Fished the second half of the outgoing tide in a side channel. Only took a cast or two to get the first fish and the bite was pretty good for about an hour. Turned off as soon as the water dropped below the grass line. Managed 7 reds between the two of us. Nothing huge, 13-16 inches, but still a great afternoon!
You are lucky to have a wife that will fish with you. 7 reds aint bad at all. What were you using, live bait or artificials?
