Bushy Park and Cooper River Restrictions

Hey everyone… need some help.

Recently moved to Goose Creek. I know that the Bushy Park ramp is iffy at low tide. Can anyone comment on the Cooper River restrictions when passing the Navy Station. Don’t need any unwanted fines…

Just keep moving and you’ll be fine!

If you take a picture with a camera or phone they WILL confiscate it.

Yea, just stay on plane or they will come see why you aren’t…with machine guns pointed at you…

There are big signs posted in the waterways, while within the signs, keep moving at consistent speeds. It’s pretty simple, you can do it!

Recommend stopping and reading the huge sign before entering the restricted zone.

You can fish Yellow House and Clouter Creeks as long as they cant see you from the river. If you fish the mouths of Yellow House or Clouter, then will visit you. Goose Creek is restricted all the way back to the Yeamans Hall Golf Course.

Funny story, had a transducer break loose right in front of the Subs. All I could hear was loud thumping as it swung around on the cable and smashed against the transom. Tried to stop and the security boat immediately headed my way. Had no choice but to turn and run back out of the restricted zone. Nothing but a cable and a thrashed transom by the time I stopped.
