Plan on getting the boat out this week for some fishing. I am thinking of either putting in at Bushy Park or Remleys Point. Which do yall prefer? If I put in at Bushy, how far down do I have to go to get some good bites? At Remleys, I can fish the harbor and maybe make it out to the jetties. I don’t want to do too much running around once I get the boat in the water but im up for anything since it will be the first time the boat has been out in a few months. I plan on targeting reds, trout, and perhaps some flounder (still haven’t been able to get one here in charleston). Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.
I put in at Remleys alot. Always had decent luck fishing around Drum Island and the rocks just up river across from the landing.

You better not put in at Bushy Park! Everyone is bithcing about how shallow and silted the landing is. Hardly any water on a falling tide and pretty far from the harbor! Read the post on this forum about Bushy Park Dredging.

Thanks for the heads up. I guess I will put in at Remleys. Any tips for how to pick up some flounder in that area?
Bottom dragging a redfish magic either white or rootbeer/chart. Shallow sandy bottom areas.
