Bushy park question

I have never been up to Bushy Park to fish from the kayak before and really dont know where to fish by kayak up there. I was looking at the google maps and saw there were a good number of creeks right there by the ramp. Is that where you guys are fishing or are you going somewhere else?

yep… those creeks usually hold fish BUT… WATCH YOUR TIDES… some of those creeks will dry out on a low tide and you will be stranded high and dry or trapped in a creek with 100 yards of neck deep pluff mud between you and the water to the landing… this rarely happens on the creeks off the main river but the ones off the “bay” near the landing are getting worse and worse. Water will be cooling off but still keep an eye out on some of those gators… we don’t call bushy park “Jurassic Park” for nuttin  also aftr a big dump of rain or the dam opening the fishing slows down because of so much fresh water flowing down river… reds will still bite but the trout usually hed for saltier waters…
