Bushy park has become one of the best places I have learned to fish. Allthough it took me about a month to learn the waters.does anyone know if they have any plans to dredge the landing there?

Those who have been fishing Bushy Park have been waiting for years for dredging. The landing is one of the nicest,it is a shame. I would think for Safety reasons they would dredge it.I believe it is under the Berkley County jurisdiction ,and we all know DNR has noooo!!! money to assist in any way.
Is there any possibilities to fish from the shore there? or is it mainly for boaters? That is quite a bit closer to where i am located. Would make for a more convenient fishing trip after work.

I see people fishing from the docks there everytime I go out.also before most people leave on there boat they throw the cast net and get bait fish all the time…bait fish=big fish…

thats one of my favorite spots to net bait and i do good crabbin there long as the gator doesnt steal my bait, but never really fished there myself. however i see plenty of reds and cafish in peoples coolers/fish buckets. ive also seen plenty of reds cruising along the grass…of course when i leave my rod in the truck to net bait.
outstanding. I will indeed have to check this place out. Now all i have to do is find out where exactly it is and i might hit it up tomorrow after work. I still have 2 dozen minnows that need used up.
