Put in at Bushy Park around 2. Dredged through the mud, but made it out. Fished Flag Creek and a few other spots for about 4 hours. Tried every color and shrimp. Not even a nibble. Dredged through the mud to get back into the boat ramp. I think I’m done with Bushy Park. Good riddance.
It’s getting worse and worse…terrible waste to a great landing! Hope they come up with a solution before too long. Sucks you didn’t get any bites but it has to better than demo’ing kitchen cabinets, old linoleum floors and sheet rock…this house remodel is killing my fishing time!

I have had some really bad experiences running out of Bushy Creek…I wont run out of there unless its 1.5 hours before or after low tide. More slow days than good but hoping to find my spot.

Anyone heard any thing about the proposed new landing at Bushy Park?
Supposed to be a new landing built to the north of the present landing directly on the river. I think when it comes to recreation, especially when adults are involved, things are put on the back burner. Then again, nothing any government does is done promptly. I will find out more info on this project and post again in a day or so.
