Bushy Park SundayTrout!

I went out to Bushy Park Sunday morning to try my luck on a new piece of water (for me). The water was clear to about two feet, it was a beautiful day to fish. Being new to saltwater fishing I worked the grass edges and creek mouths just like I have read of so many others doing from posts in this forum, I used a popping cork with a voodoo shrimp underneath as my rig of choice.

In about an hour and half I caught half a dozen trout with pair of keepers both at 17 inches and nice and fat:smiley:

Needless to say, I had a great dinner Sunday Afternoon with fresh trout beer batter fried on a hoagie.

Good deal man! You may have to change your name to TroutFishJunkie haha

I hear ya! I am hoping to add a good redfish report after this weekend as long as the weather holds and I can find some tailers!
