Quick question. What location do you all put when checking the tides for bushy parks landing? Sometimes when only going for a few hours it’s easier to put in here rather than going to remleys but last couple times seems like my tide location has been way off.
Snow point, man that was one of my favorites. As far as these tide charts and apps go,IMO they are not dead nuts on all the time.Just a good starting point depending on some other variables.
I also use Snow Point as it is closer than General Dynamic’s. You do need to look at tide +/- predicted and of course whether or not water is being released from the (**() which can affect the level. I usually add 30 minutes to high and fish 3 hours from either tide change.
10" draft flats boat, I use snow Point Can launch up to 2hrs before low tide and return 2hrs after low tide.
If it’s a negative tide add 30-45 on each side.
Watched a 25’ CC launch right behind me 2 weeks ago and they made it out. Couldn’t believe it.
I think as people keep running in the same ditch and the bushy park flat continues to fill with silt the water will eventually dig a little ditch out to the main channel. At really low tides you can see where the ditch is taking form.
I encourage everyone to give it a little extra when power loading. Lets keep the ramp area cleaned out.
