bushy park

Friday, first a few u/s flounder then a 14" flounder boated (first 20 minutes). I went up duckhouse creek to battle…and I mean Battle a 18 spottail under a tree, boated, 3 more flatties 2-15 and 18"boated. Went back out in the river, hooked up on what I thought was a shark, but 25" spottail! that pulled me to the middle of cooper river, man he could fight… took a while to revive, the boy had Heart! (Un-anchored yaks are not condusive to the health of redfish), but it is Fun! also Some u/s spottail, Then a 20" spottail taken, jumped a ladyfish. Hot as heck, but worth it. I used mudders on the bottom with a split-shot, low tide.
Today, Monday, 1 nice flounder and 2 u/s spotties, 1 u/s flounder, and a catfish.

Today, Fished for 20 minutes in flounder hole and duckhouse creek with no takers, then lightning and rain drove me closer to landing. Boated 18" flounder 50ft. from road. Forgot and left my minnow trap in flounder cove… so now I have to go back tomorrow :frowning:

cm,if your ever looking for a paddling partner, let me know. I have a yak and I a m not affraid to use it. I get tired of fishing by myself. Sounds like you had pretty good luck, nice job.

I am always looking for a fishing partner. How about anytime next week?
Just got back from getting the minnow trap. The water was really rought today so decided to stay near landing again. First 2 rattails around ldg. Then went way up a creek to get 21" spottail, then 29", then 24.5" Totally awesome couple hrs. Guy checked me at landing- weighed and measured my fish after he took a picture for me. Life is good:smiley:
