Any one else fishing the creek up behind the NWS in Bushy Park? saw a bunch of boat come out of there as I was coming down river. Any bites on xraps or spinners
yet?
It’s hit or miss in there. If you can catch them schooling, it can be an awesome day. But for the most part the bass are far and few between. Stay in the open water, you’ll have better results.
Excuses? I’ve heard them all!
Not many posts lately, anybody had any luck with the Bass? Been caught up on the trout lately. Coming back to the fresh water side this week though.

Hey Bassmaster, I have only had luck on the outgoing tide in Bushy Park and in the grass fields in coves along the Tail Race. I have tried incoming and dead high and dead low and just couldn’t get any action. Me and my fishing buddy once found some nice one’s swimming around in a grass field and couldn’t get them to hit tube’s, jigs and every other sight fishing tackle that we had and none of them even took an interest. We even backed away and threw top water fast, slow, torpedoes, buzz baits…and still nothing…so we packed in and caught a few beers. So if you want to have a good day your chances are better on a outgoing tide.
