It was rough going for me the past few days. Friday sucked, one small flounder. Yesterday I gave up hunting for reds and followed the birds to some small trout. Caught 8 or so, all tiny. And a small flounder. Today the big reds were still playing hard to get. I could almost hear them saying “We don’t need no stinking’ worm”. So I went back to the spot the birds showed me yesterday and caught at least 10 trout. One at 19", and two right at 14. Also an unexpected redfish at 16". All on artificials.
