Got out in that wind and it did not let up. But the flounder and reds did not mind the weather or the murky waters. Stayed in the Park area because of the wind but managed a nice flounder for dinner

All others released. Couldn’t find a trout nowhere in Bushy Park. Had to pull the boat all the way to the ramp with tide so low

Must have just missed you Eric- I was out of there about 20 min before your pic was taken. I ran aground in Flatty (whaler) about 100 yds before landing. First time for me. W winds blew the water out. Trimmed up with trusty 2x4 and mud rooster tailed it the rest of the way. Had to dunk the rear end in the freshwater side and flush it out real good. I also struggled to find trout. Had 3 or 4 undersize then one good one about 18" a very soft bite. Had 5 reds to 24" and a 16" flounder. Beautiful weather besides the wind.

Tried early morning for a few Cats with shrimp and started throwing that white gulp swimbait to keep the blood warm and felt the thump then waited and here comes a flounder. Lucky!

Was slow for us yesterday, we only fished for 3 hours though and got 1 spottail and one flatty… glad to hear you guys are finding em! I plan to find them over the next few weeks now that I don’t have to work this shutdown any longer!
