Not the longest fish yet but for sure the heaviest and hardest fighting pig I’ve caught! This guy stripped drag a dozen times and had me tired before he was! Caught on quartered crab that was snackin on my mulls…31.5 inches but fought like a 40!..both the other 24 -26 were also caught on that one quartered crab…needless to say I will be trying the crabs more often!

Did you make your own stick anchor? I’ve been thinking about how to do that for a while now. I figure it’s way cheaper than a power pole, and the power pole isn’t in the budget right now.

I did, I did! Dual galv ground rod and ss shackles and some bungys! Was first time trying this style and they worked like a champ! All for around 27$
…also I poked em thru 2 tennis balls to keep them from banging all around in the boat on the ride! That’s my bright idea for the year right there LOL
