Tried a different creek real close to the one we fish, Ken.
Picked up a small 13" trout right off the bat in the river on a grub. Then up the creek in 1-2ft of water boated 2 flounders 14&16" on minnows. While dragging a minnow in the shallow water, really just exploring, found this 24" red. Was a bit more windy than the man said.

I am trying to getting to BP saturday morning. Just havenāt gotten the āI donāt care, whateverā yet. Will have to be out of the water be 10ish. Weāll see

If I were you, I would never fish with sandals on again. Stay with the boots, they seem to be the difference between catching fish for you, and needing to bath in 'Mater Juice!

Yak when I get back will be looking to head to this so called secret hole.
Spent two hours fishing today and only landed one 10 in trout, conditions a bit rough. Kept having to break the ice off the guides on the fly rod and the line kept frezing to the rod. Made for difficult casting. Next week have a 30 hour lay over in Portland and hope to find some good fishing there but will be back on Wed. Might head out to the lagoon again that weekend if anyone else is up for it.

Yak, it looks like weāve brought bad luck upon ourselves by making fun of Cutās boots. He fished this past week in the afternoon(nice weather), now he has to work this weekendā¦we donāt and we can fishā¦blowing and maybe some rain? I talked to him this afternoon, he laughed and in his own way wished for bad weather this weekend. Iām not given in, the windās not going to keep me off the water!
