Bushy trip

Well the wife, lil man and I tried our luck today. Went out around 11 and hit Yellow house Creek. Man, the water was slick, the boat ran awesome(had some previous electrical problems get solved, thanks Berkley Outdoors)Tried a few different creek mouths and finally hit a decent spot. Had a few good bites, landed 4 reds, 3 underslot, 1 questionable. Had something, a trout or bluefish I’m guessing, shred a Berkley Gulp Jerk Shad. I reeled in half of it.Had my son using a popping cork with shrimp and he had a blast. I’m happy he didn’t give a single"I’m bored Dad". He was perfectly content to fish and holler when a fish was on. The better half did ok, sunning up front(mmm mmm tan lines) caught an undersize flounder and 3 crabs. All in all a good relaxing day. A few cold beverages, some Nabs, seeing the beautiful surroundings that make up our area. My point is is that I am grateful. Really grateful. To be able to go out in a boat,in the beautiful area we live in, is truly a blessing. Catching fish is a bonus. (**() yall, I keep talking like this, I’m gonna grow an ovary. Time for a beer. Have a good one yall.
