Bushy W/ pics added

Played hooky yesterday and headed down the river to a creek I’ve never fished before… wanted to drift with the current a little bit and cover water but the wind wouldn’t cooperate so I finally anchored up with some success. Not a great day for many, but for me it was! Inshore fishing kicks my a** most of the time. So it feels good when u get it right!!
Final tally:
2 flounder (1 short)
3 trout (2 right at the limit, so they were released)
1 baby blue cat
(Can’t add the pic’s from my phone…?)

not a bad day at all! i went out saturday afternoon to bushy in that nasty weather and hooked a couple trout and a 15lb blue cat. so def sounds like you had a better day than i did!thanks for the report

Nice report and nice job on the filleting. Flounder filleting used to intimidate me, but now they’re my favorite to clean.

What kind of boat is that?

Says Sea Fox on the seat cover so I believe it’s a Cigarette Boat…
sorry couldn’t stop myself lol… nice catch btw

“Fish On”

Nice, I like to look in the stomachs when I fillet fish too to see what they’ve been feeding on…sometimes it helps.
