Picked up 4 fish today (3 trout, 1flounder), biggest fish was 15" trout. I believe nikonjedi caught a few trout in river also. We all went up a creek where I didn’t catch anything. Not sure what all Ken ended with as we had to leave after big brother wrestled a 19" and 29" spottail. (beginner kayaker luck)
I think all fish caught were on minners, low-rising tide.
I had an encounter with a gator waaaaaaayyyy back in the creek where Ron got the monster. It was a 3 footer who wanted IN my yak. He came right up and was trying to claw his way up. He was a little surprised to see me and before I could get the camera on he bugged out. 
After he chased my bait a couple of times I decided to head out and look for you guys. I wandered back down the other creek looking for you guys and decided to call it a HOT day and head back. At the mouth of the creek I saw “Ali” all 12 feet of her swimming around. I would go right and she would go right, I went left she went left… I decided to snap a few pix and didn’t realize I was only about 10 feet away when she exploded away and scared the crap out of me I was too busy in the view finder to watch how close I was I fished a little while longer and got a few more bites but only boated the 2 trout. Both of them were about 12 inches. It was a really good time, we need to do it again… soon! Thanks for letting me paddle along and Tell Ron I said Congrats again on that Monster!

Beerbuzz, That was Cutmullets Brother that caught the big red, not me… If I had caught that beast your would have heard me from wherever you were The only reds I saw werem on Ron’s hands or net It was a great day though.
