Bushy

Tried real hard from 3-6pm with minnows and all color grubs. Only 2 bites and 1 - 16" flounder

Anyone got the afternoon off? I’m planning on being out there around 1pm.

What’s going on out there? Things sure aren’t sound’n good @ Bushy Park. All the fish picked up and moved.

I’ll tell ya whats goin on… Cutmullets Brother has them fish so dang trained they won;t even bite his lines anymore!! From what I have heard it’s not just bushy… a lot of other gus were fishin other places and lock-jaw was the norm… I am sure it’ll pick up soon… I hope REALLY soon… I heard this past Sunday at Redfishville was super slow too… if it’s bad there there must be aliens doin sumptin bad…

Hey Ken or Bill
Any chance you can get a kitchen pass on Saturday? I’d like to take my new/old yak out for a test drive. Don’t want to maiden voyage w/o a partner.

I tell ya, I have to be at church till 2ish on Saturday “BUT” I may be able to head to the landing after that. Somewhere around 230. It is supposed to be windy and rain in the morning. So mid-afternoon may be a good time. Wind is going to be 25-30 in the afternoon. I have been there with 15 mph wind and that wasnt fun. If you live near Summerville there are a few private lakes we could hit. Shoot me an email with your number and Ill let ya know.

Summerville private lakes?? I live in Summerville  I am trying for a kitchen pass for sunday, better weather too… can ya do Sunday? I am kinda stuck at Bushy park, it’s close enough if I get alerted to get my crap and get to work but like I said I am going to try for a first light launch Sunday and monkey around for a bit… gimme a hoot

Saw my first gator of the year. The bugs are back:dizzy_face:, but so is the bait- big mullet/ small mullet. Landed 2 spottails today around 15", 1 flounder about 13" and a nice trout that measured 18".

DNR was having a grand time writing tickets when I left at 5ish.

nice fishy:smiley: Thats great news. DID YOU SAY GATOR[:0] where is bushy?

Nice, glad to see something happening out there. Yep the gators are alive and well.

I can get out Sunday after church. High tide is around 12:45.
What tide is best for Bushy high or low?

I plan on being out there around first light and staying til the afternoon… Looks liek it’ll be aroudn mid tide going high at sunrise so I am hoping to find some fish  Sunrise is about 7:30AM and I plan on launching right at 7:30 and trying to be on my first spot as the sun comes up… This’ll probaly be the last time I fish my current yak before I pick up the new on  man I can;t wait!!!
