Took Beer’s yak out, after work today for 2 hrs. Decided I don’t like short boats… darn thing would spin around on a dime.
Picked up 3 trout (1 keeper), lost nice flounder.
what does he have cut?i thought he had a 14ft.
12ft liquid logic… Willy, we picked up a couple 3ft sharks, whiting, 1 blue… think that was about it, in the surf at Hunting.
Hopefully, I’ll have a nice report for ya’ll surfer in three weeks. Going to Edisto Sunday for 2 weeks!

Hey Willy, that may have been an old pic in one of cutmullets boats. My 12 footer will work you a little in open water like Bushy where you might get some wind or current in the mouth of the cove and youre trying to make time anyway. But in the narrow creeks where wind & current arent much of an issue and youre slow paddleing and fishing anyway I really like it. Its put me on all the fish, flatties, reds & trout. Even battled a 3 ft. shark at Copahee back in the summer. Luckily cutmullet came around the corner to help me get my hands on it…there was no way I could get that wild thing in the boat by myself, it just wouldnt tire out in the deep water. When ya gonna’ spend a weekend with us at Edisto man? Drinking cold ones around the fire with you and your geetar’ would be fun!

beeri really would enjoy that beer.but,with all the youngins runnin around here and homeschoolin and work and all,im lucky to sneak out to folly for a few hours.you two are really fortunate you can do that as much as you do.keep sendin us reports in pier/surf when you do.im thinkin next spring i want to spend a week down there in one of then cabins and shark fish.-willy
