Decided to try my spots I hadn’t in awhile and it paid off greatly. I’m learning this flounder thing but I’m loving it the more I try it. Trout eye with gulp shrimp and patience and I really mean patience.Missed quite a few because that 10 sec theory. I wait til they start swimming and HOOK-UP!!! Large flounder 21" 4.5 lbs and the other two were 19/19.5 and a red (swam away after photo) this storm came up and I decided not to stay out for the slam. Excited with these Flounders…
Water was so calm at 7:00am
After getting my third ( no additional BOGO) the winds picked up as the storm was approaching.

Corkman & CrackerLarry (what an Identity)LOL:smiley: I’m transitioning into fishing for flounders and all others are ok. I now only target flounders but realize when it’s a red strike in order not to deep hook these babies. Today was exciting to see these doormats float to the top.

I want to reply to this, but I want some time to think about it first. I often drive my wife nuts. She asks me a question and it takes me 10 minutes to answer it. Some things you just have to think about for a while.
Right now I’ll say that I’ve never caught 3 flounder that nice in one day, except with a gig, and I’ve been doing it a long time. That’s some dang good fish catching right there:sunglasses:
