Hit the drink at 6:30 and netted some perfect fingers. I’ve been fishing a new area where I am in the process of buying land to build a new house. Since it was new water, I relied on the Top Spots map and she didn’t disapoint. Caught 8 trout in an hr. No really nice ones, but a really nice experience. I’ts rewarding to figure out new areas. Hraded out for a nature cruise later today. 3’ of water along the grass at a creek mouth. Lots of bait.

what is a top spots map?
A map of an area that has way points, fishing spots,marinas, bouys and such marked. It gives you little tips for some of the spots. They are composed with the help of local guides and are great to get you started. Just ask for one at haddrells, they are right near the register.
