Headed out early saturday morning and started out slow. picked up a few flounder and the largest trout I’ve ever seen in my life (snapped off at the boat. had to be 20+") moved to another dock right as the falling tide was about over and it was on. 7 big reds. all over 24" and fat… Lost a blue Obrien tube on the Wando on Saturday if anyone happened to see it floating around. Had a kayak sitting on top of it at the dock but that storm was fierce and blew everything off the dock. Tried to recreate Saturday this morning with the kids and of course it didn’t work out. One big hook up and that was it.
Bet that trout haunts you huh? :). That’s fishing!
Hope you get your tube. I had one blow off the boat headed to the ramp. It got stolen in 10 min. Hope you have better luck

Hate to say it, but there were so many boats on the Wando due to the “Aquapalooza” crowd, that tube is gone.
We went over to try to listen to the bands and only hung around about an hour on the outskirts of the crowd. We saw 2 groups of 5+ boats in that time break loose and drift into other boats while refusing to break their raft apart. One group broke loose 2 separate times. In an hour. Packed up and headed to the Stono for some relaxation away from the idiots.
