Wanting to buy a sot kayak to fish with. Never done it but looks like fun. My question is what is the best kind to get for a moderate price? Would be using in MI and PI. Is there somewhere local to look at some? Any advice would be appriciated. Thanks.
Most of the yaks on the market today are pretty good. I’d shy away from the bottom end of the price spectrum.
Craigslist and the classifieds on kayak fishing forums are your best friends. You can often find great boats for less than 1/2 the cost of new.
