I was fishing for sheephead yesterday around the coal chute, and got buzzed by a little white four blade drone. It is amazing how uncomfortable being under surveillance will make you feel. The drone sat about 100 to 150 feet above me and then drop down to about 50 feet. If it was somebody from this site I would be happy to take you fishing with me instead of you spying on me, you will learn more.

The adolescent in me would likely be showing that drone several body parts that normally don’t get shown. Just for the heck of it.
Narcosis
big topwater plug and an accurate cast would be the catch of the day.
10% of the people catch 90% of the fish.
You people need to relax a little bit. It’s just a drone. No different then someone taking pictures of your boat from a distance.

Down here is where a signature goes but they can confuse and anger some people so I don’t have one.
sure, say that when it comes in your back yard while you are bbq some shrimp. They could be looking for anything, things they may want more than you do.

Who would want a picture of “used to to sell fish”? It’s not like Stonman’s Bikini Babes.
Sorry it was me. When do you want to go?

That was NOT me. I mean Paul is a sexy guy and all but I’m into petite ladies.

It’s totally different than someone taking pictures from a distance. The mere fact that “…from a distance” was part of the comment makes it different considering the close proximity of the drone. The invasive nature of how these civilian drones are used makes exponentially more of a hassle and, other than the fact they capture images, is in no way the same as a camera.
No matter how much it hurts, how dark it gets, or how far you fall…you are never out of the fight.

quote:I know this was a joke, but the FAA considers shooting these down, when they are in the public, as shooting down any other aircraft. Keep that in mind. Unfortunately, everywhere we go now has surveillance, it just doesn't make a buzzing sound to make us so aware of it.

Yeah and they should also be considered as a aircraft and have to have permission to fly, and all operators should be registered and licensed. Drones were developed as a surveillance tool to save time money and lives, now they are toys to the public and are a nuisance and danger as well as invasive to privacy. I hate taking pictures, being filmed and like to be aware of it when I am, I have had drones film me at the beach and they are hard to notice and really quite hard to hear unless its about talking distance away. I like to think positive and assume they are filming for fun and not cause they are up to something so it doesn’t bother me. You hover and watch me in my yard I’ll destroy your toy and personally return it with a your welcome, gotta operate within the legal limits.
