C-LEVEL 5-2&3 with a Blue mixed in

We started on the 500 line & got in the fish right away. First fish was a blue marlin that took a stab at the short corner chugger with horse ballyhoo but missed. Caught a big bull and at 9:05 we hooked up a nice blue, fought him a couple of minutes then the mono to braid knot failed. We picked up nice sized dolphin along and @ 2:15 we dropped back and hooked up another blue one. Same old story, big fish little bait. A couple of minutes in the 80# leader breaks. Ended the day with 13 dolphin. About midday a big boat comes from offshore sets an end bouy and starts laying a longline heading back out and out of sight. On sat. it was a bit slower. We headed to the same area as yesterday but the fish were few and far between. We jumped a couple of dolphin off and caught a couple before the daymaker came in. We dropped back and hooked him up, a blue marlin on. We were able to keep this one on, we unhooked him, the party took a couple of pictures and he swam away looking strong. We ended up with a few dolphin a skipjack and the blue.

“It’s not really about how fast you get to the fishing grounds, but what you can do when you get there!!”

Dude I love you, but sooner or later, you’re going to have to realize the fact that you’re a ■■■■ moron.

23Sailfish is a douche bag…internetly speaking.
