If anyone is chasing a red and needs someone to throw a fly at them I am your man. All this talk of pretty water and nice days is driving me crazy. I know a couple places that have held them over the years, but my partner, the boat owner, is hemmed up by a pretty young lady. Will put my share of gas and bring the rest of the provisions.
Smokey,
I was headed out of town riday, plans were cancelled…give me a holler if’n you still wanna go
Salt, I work all weekend. We need to set something up and get after them.

Once I retire I guess:wink:
Smokey,
Did you get out yet? I have a 14 ft bay boat that will go in some pretty shinny water. I have a push pole and a decent front and rear casting deck, but no poling platform.
I am retired and have been fishing for three years. I have never seen tailing Reds, but would love to. In fact I have never found flats. I guess I don’t know what to look for. Are you interested … on my dime? I don’t fly fish, but I’m sure I could keep out of your way.
I was out prepping the boat this fine spring afternoon and got cabin fever myself. I need to remount the trolling motor removed for shrimping season, and the live well pump needs to be replaced, but other then that, I am ready to go.

Are you going out tomorrow (Friday) or Saturday morning? I do not have any local knowledge but have fished to lots of tailing redfish when I can find them.
