help. Where? I want to stay at a nice place with a nice beach to swim in. I have seen where swimming is not allowed.

cabo proper tends to have a good beach break, steep drop offs. probably why they arent allowing it.
you may have better luck, turning the corner and looking around east cape.
We didn’t spend much time in Cabo proper, but Mi Casa is a great little place to eat. We were spoiled and stayed with a relative in Pamilla(San Jose Del Cabo). There is a sushi place in Pamilla that was off the chain good. It was super expensive but one we will never forget. The fishing down there is just silly. Most of the guys down there are true West coast fisher folks- live bait and lures. We had our own boat and caught striped marlin(really easy), dolphin, tuna, and some nice wahoos. Most of the beaches(where there was sand not rocks) had a sharp drop off and was totally different than East Coast beaches. The waves were a lot more powerful and thick(great for surfing).

yeah, they have a special different type of dorado/tuna down there. they are known to readily eat cedar plugs and lures without ballyhoo on them.
