Lex Melfi, a local sand carved glass artist, has obtained International Licensing Rights with Guy Harvey to depict all of his work onto glass. Each piece is carved on 3/4 inch plate glass and illuminated with LED lights. The latest creation of Guy Harvey Sand Carved Glass is of “The Old Man and The Sea” and is being offered by Cabo Yachts to anyone that purchases the 44’ HTX. The piece is valued at $19,560. Beautiful piece of work. Nice to know it’s gonna go on a more affordable Cabo. Usually work of that quality goes on custom Davis,Garlington,Merritt, etc. We used to call my Dad “OMATS” and gave him the Harvey t-shirt print. He wore it every time we went offshore afterwards. Wish I could afford a copy just to look at and think about my Dad"Big Doc".

Miami has been crazy! Will be here until tomorrow and have to say that I can’t wait to get back to Folly! Everyone seems to love the glass and ended up with a big order on a custom 77’Hatteras. Got to see the plans and specs on the new 95’ Hatteras…GOOD LORD MAN! Incredible!
