Any one know how to calibrate the Yamaha command link display for amount of fuel available. The dealer kindly filled the boat with gas but did not set the fuel so all I have is bars rather than exact amount of fuel in gallons remaining. There is a step wise method of setting it in the manual but it requires the tank to be empty.
Any experience with this?

You could remove it from the tank easily enough.

2x to the above. Just unscrew the sending unit and pick it, for your purpose the tank will seem to be empty.
