Call him the Bug Catcher!

went out with under contract today with mike & vic. if you want to bend a rod, now is the time. the ajs up to 30/40lbs are all over the deeper channel markers on the way out. we stopped for bait and they swarmed around the boat.headed out to 90’ to try some diving. last sun. the viz was 70’. after the storm and the new moon the current was rippin all day and the viz was less then 2’, it sucked! I saw two good groupers but they are gone before you can pull the trigger> did wrassle a nice bug with vic, which we would never seen without a good light. didn’t dive again but got into big b-liners,the largest pinks Iv’e seen along with triggers and some bsb’s. water was great for Nov. ride in at 30kts.good crew and hope the water willclear up by fri. so I can finish filling my freezer with grouper before the

closure!
good trip with under contract and some new friends!

If it got any better I couldn’t stand it.

Nice. Dont know if my dad told you or not but go scuba certified while I was down in Florida. Did some diving and shooting while I was there, dont have any gear though. If you need someone to go let me know I will just rent some gear.

Hell yeah, nice bug. Slick water, TERRIBLE vis. I’m hoping a few days of tidal flux and a NE wind will clear the water up, that was crazy. Good thing you brought a light! We’ll cooler out next time when the vis is better, those fish were locked up tight, nobody was moving at all.

The water even looks green in your picture!

Nice bug. Standby around the 1st of December the wind is going to blow I’ll be coming home. Hopefully we’ll get a chance to go if I can remember what my boat looks like.

Yep, thats a nice bug.
