I was wondering what bass are biting and what catfish are eating so when I go camping I can catch more fish then my dad… Help please

Catfish…cut bait or worms. Fish shallow.

Bass…spinnerbaits, texas rig or carolina rig worms, fish shallow.

Spinnerbait…chartreuse/white, or chartreuse/blue, gold blades if you can find them.

Worms/lizards…can’t go wrong with green pumpkin or pumpkinseed, dip the tail in chartreuse dye. If you find clear water throw watermelon or watermelon with red flake.

I like a junebug color worm byfar, texas rigged or carolina rig. Buzzbaits and topwater plugs are awesome when theyre on the beds this time of year

And what kind of top water lures would work and any specific colors and thanks I appreciate the help

bass were biting well Sat but the rain and cold front slowed them down a lot today. The topwater bite should start any time now. Large and loud for this time of year. My favorites are the KVD Sexy Dawg and the Chuggin Spook.

Colors should be kind of subtle because the water is very clear right now but go bright and flashy if it’s overcast and/or windy.

I was wondering because all of the topwater frogs are usually a dark brown or light yellow and the other popper is a dark brown with army green to it… If that helps any and thanks for your help appreciate it

Would a top water snake work

fish a heddon tiny torpedo or KVD plug. Topwater frogs may work in thick cover if the water is warm, only one way to find out! I prefer the KVD sexy frog
