I was planning on doing a little camping/fishing trip this weekend out on Murray. Do yall know a good island to camp on that has a good place to beach a fiberglass boat overnight? I was thinking goat island but I was going to see if yall had any other suggestions. Thanks.

Goat island is a good spot. i camped there last weekend and kept my fiberglass boat on a beach. fish off a point at night and you can pick up catfish and striper.

The south side of Wessinger Island has a nice area for camping. The east side of Spence Islands, stright across from Frey Key, has a decent area too.

Thanks for the tips guys. I think Im going to try out goat island just cause I think the bank fishing will be better there at night. Ill report on the fishing sunday.
