This bracket is bolted to the port side of the transom on a “new to me” boat. Previous owner could not ID and never used.
I am hoping that it is designed for a swim ladder and that I can find the vendor to purchase a ladder.

Looks to me like a quick release kicker motor bracket of some type:question:

That’s a bracket for a dive ladder.

That is what I am hoping. Any idea how to find the brand ladder that the bracket fits. It looks nothing like common ladder brackets.
I would check with some of the boat dealers, might be some sort of standard size. My boat was sold so I can’t check for you.

Worse case, I bet you could find someone that could fabricate an aluminum one that would jive with that bracket…talk to the trooper guy on here

Yes, it’s a ladder bracket, but I don’t recall the brand. I tried to grab that image off the facebook site and run it through google images, but facebook wouldn’t let me copy it.
Raymond Martin could certainly build a ladder to fit it.

The bracket in your pic looks correct! What brand of boat is in your pic?
I have an email in to Albemarle to see if they can help me.
That is a 2005 Sailfish 236.
BTW the boat is back on the market, the person who bought it is getting relocated inland. Great price, if anyone is interested PM me and I will put you in touch with the owner.

You should call Jim McClure at Butler Marine in West Ashley. He sold Sailfish boats for several years in Summerville and could probably get you the correct part. Those brackets/ladders were on most of the 2004-2005 23-26’ sailfish boats. I think they changed the design in either 2006 or 2007.

Working with Raymond Martin to fabricate a ladder or refab a store bought ladder if bolt pattern on new bracket doesn’t match old bracket
